Hello! My name is Kasey B, and I am a driven New York-based creative inspired by the motivation to connect with different communities, cultures, and walks of life through a passion for storytelling. I am looking forward to working with your child to hone their own individual passion for the intersectionalities between literary humanities and arts education.
By day, I am an investigative entertainment reporter with The U.S. Sun and write performance reviews with The Ballet Herald. By night, I am the founder of Project III (People's Performance Project), a non-profit arts initiative dedicated to pushing the boundaries on what defines the concept of movement-based performance. You can also find my fiction published in The Foundationalist and Prospectus Literary Journal.
I was previously a professional ballet dancer and spent four years teaching as an assistant at American Ballet Theatre working with children ages 3-18. I have coached multiple high school and post-graduate students on their college application essays and have had several clients admitted to Columbia University and other top programs. While at Columbia University, I was an editor of Grey Matters, a neuroscience magazine that worked with graduate-level researchers to write narratives that were fun and engaging for high school-level audiences.
I graduated from Columbia University, Columbia College as a Core Scholar and on the Dean's List with a BA in English, Class of 2021. I am looking forward to learning with your child: I always return to my passion for teaching children because I am always humbled by how much I learn from them.

Education Background
I am a proud graduate of the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA with a major in Disruption Studies. Disruption Studies was a major I founded about the study of change and was the first ever graduate of the program. Additionally, I spent my time on campus writing a thesis on the ethics of artificial intelligence and teaching freshman introductory courses to Disruption Studies.
Teaching Background
My experience with tutoring and coaching has been a lifelong passion project. I spent the past 3 years as the debate coach for Saline High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. During my time there we won one JV and one Varsity state championship. Additionally, during my time at Michigan I taught a class of 30 freshmen about the world of Disruption Studies. I have extensive skills in all things writing, speaking, arguing, and critical thinking.
BIO: Salute, My name is Joel E and I have been tutoring now for 8 years. I started tutoring when I graduated high school at the age of 16 at the college of Tallahassee Community College, and then from there I went to Georgia state University which is where I received my bachelor's of science. From then on, I knew tutoring was not just a passion but also a great skill of mine. Since then, I have worked with large Corporations and Small L.L.C companies so I have quite the experience tutoring all kids from kindergarten all the way up to undergraduate seniors in college. On the other note outside of college I have been competing in chess competitions since I was in 6th grade, I have interned in laboratories at GSU, and TCC. Teaching is my higher calling; it is something I don't just enjoy for myself but I enjoy help educating fellow people. Education is the key to the lock of ignorance. After deciding working in a stem cell and cancer biology laboratory is not for me, I ventured into teaching and business. I cannot wait to help and meet the many students I will come across, because we all need each other to help each other, be better for one another.
